Perfect food and perfect service. Constance was so nice! Definetly coming back soon!!

Best dinner of my life!!! The meat was EXCELLENT, the dessert very tasty and everything accompanied by a very delicious wine. Constance helped us choose all the dishes and I am very grateful for that, because everything was impeccable. Definitely that's your choice if you want to eat very well in Hermanus!

Exceptional: Saturday 22nd Aug 2026 12pm Lunch, the warmest welcome to the best table we were treated so well. Our waitress Nantandi ( hope i got it right) was professional & kowledgeable. Our steaks were beautifully prepared as we each requested just sublime. Our team from Hemel n Aarde Stud farm thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon! Well done Hussar Hermanus we will see you soon thank you to your team!

Excellent services waiter's very friendly and it's very neat 👌

Overall really good: attentive and friendly wait staff, grat wines at a reasonable price and succulent steaks. Highly recommended.

This is one of our favourite steak restaurants in Hermanus. As locals, we regularly bring overseas guests here for dinner because they consistently deliver excellent quality meals, prepared with care and skill and served with a real sense of pride in their work. The steaks are always excellent and cooked exactly as requested, from rare through to well done. Thoroughly recommended, though it is best to book ahead.

Excellent service and amazing food, would highly recommend this eatery

What a lovely place. Excellent service and Yummy food. our Waiter was tops and he make our lunch special and enjoyful.

Thank you to The Hussar Grill Hermanus for an amazing evening. Food was cooked to perfection and so very delicious. Thank you Ossy for the smile you helped us with the entire evening. Your friendliness absolutely made our night even more special!

Always a great experience

The best experience I’ve ever had, from walking in without a booking, the front of house was excellent, the restaurant was full, but she was determined to make a plan, which she did I’m sorry but I didn’t get her name. We were seated upstairs and our waiter was excellent, Ossy professional and on the ball. The food was quick and was absolutely delicious, so much so we’re coming back tomorrow night for another meal, well done on a superb restaurant, the best in Hermanus.

We had a great meal, made really special by Nicola
