We are celebrating our anniversary. Kiara and the rest of the staff were amazing. The food is always great. We like Hussar Grill Rondebosch because it's intimate and warm...a classic restaurant in modern times 5 stars. Exquisite dining experience. Truly wonderful birthday dinner celebration for my husband. Flawless service, gorgeous ambiance and the most delish dinner.

Really enjoyed the food at Hussar Grill Rondebosch. I had the Madagascan pepper fillet and my guest had the sirloin. Both were excellent, and the pepper sauce was especially good. The only downside was the cleanliness. The menu was quite dirty and our tablecloth had a noticeable stain, which made it seem like it hadn’t been changed between guests. A bit disappointing given the quality of the food.

Great selection of steaks and wine. Allowed to bring your own wine which is also a win.

It was the worst experience I ever had in my 52 years of living. worst steak ever. Should be 200gr medium rare. is stead 100gr burnt steak. Then I'm told that the steak is 200gr before cooking, I'm just wondering if you loose half the weight with cooking. We waited 2 hours for our main meal. They tried to make up for the bad service with Biltong and droë wors. 😒 I will not put my foot their again. To top it all, the people that came way behind us ate their food and left before we got our main meal. Normally people will play that race card, for me, my money is as good as anyone else's money and I deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. The poor waitress tried to salvage the situation the entire evening, I can't fault her but the kitchen staff and management needs to understand, don't give someone food you would not eat. I ended up taking the entire main meal home in a doggie bag. The dog did even want to eat the burnt steak. Again this is the worst I ever experienced, Im sure the Spur steak would have been properly cooked and value for your money.

Our Waitron was a very empathetic young man. We had a disabled guest at our table who had never been asked in such a subtle way if her food steak needed to be sliced. She has never been asked that and was extremely impressed. Well done to the young man. It made our evening very special for our UK visitors. Thank you.

It was an awesome experience. The waitress was so super efficient and friendly and ensured that we had good wine and great food served in great time so that we were still able to attend the show at Baxter. We were a table of 6 and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed everything.
