From the moment we arrived, everything about the evening was exceptional. The food, atmosphere, service and attention to detail all came together to create a truly memorable experience. A special mention has to go to Patrick, the Restaurant Manager, who is clearly on top of everything. His presence and attention to detail were noticeable throughout the evening. It is evident that he takes great pride in the restaurant and his team, and that level of leadership reflects directly in the overall guest experience. Everything was well organised and professionally managed, while still maintaining a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our waiter, Thembi, was absolutely phenomenal. She was friendly, attentive, professional and incredibly warm throughout the evening. Her service was exceptional without ever feeling intrusive, and she made us feel genuinely welcomed and well looked after. Thembi has a wonderful way of connecting with guests, and her attention to the little details really stood out. She is a real asset to the team and played a big part in making our evening so enjoyable. The food and overall dining experience were excellent, but what really stood out was the personal touch. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the team surprised us with a complimentary glass of MCC to celebrate with us. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a lovely surprise. These are the little touches that turn an ordinary restaurant visit into something truly memorable. It is clear that there is a strong focus on hospitality at The Hussar Grill Franschhoek. From Patrick's management and attention to detail to Thembi's outstanding service, the entire experience felt professional, personal and genuine. This is a great little hotel-attached restaurant that specializes in steak but also has vegetarian dishes. The service is terrific. Yonela, the hostess, was particularly helpful and friendly.

I have eaten at Hussar Grill Franschhoek countless times, and every single visit continues to blow me away with their exceptional food and service. Their cocktails are a standout! The Piña Colada and Strawberry Daiquiri are absolute must-tries, and the Margarita is perfect if you're in the mood to party. When it comes to the food, their ribs and burgers are my all-time favorites, but their steaks are simply to die for, and the seafood dishes are nothing short of spectacular. They have the best crème brûlée in town! 😍 This is hands down the best Hussar Grill ever and my favorite place to eat in Franschhoek. Highly recommended! ❤️
