The restaurant was very empty for a Sunday afternoon. We had booked ahead and were seated promptly. My wife ordered Pork Belly and specifically asked that there was no sauce over the meat, but rather separate. It came doused in a brown sauce and was returned immediately. I ordered Chateaubriand with Fries, which arrived with the brandy sauce and which was lighted, but without the Bearnais sauce. The steak was also sliced across the top. On cutting it, it was obvious that this was not done Medium Rare as requested but was Medium to Well Done. A passing female waitron asked if everything was all right and I asked her if she considered this steak Medium Rare to which she replied, Definitely Not. There was not a sign of red in the steak nor was there any blood oozing out. It was taken away and returned later almost perfect though again no blood. I think this is due to slicing the top of the steak which allows any blood to run out. The waitron informed us that she had informed the Manager and this black lady dressed in white overalls and apron came and asked if everything was all right. I am not sure if this was the Manager as she did not inform us and was poorly dressed for someone in that rank. My wife's Belly Pork was returned with the brown sauce on the side. She said the meat was very nicely done but the sauce was totally inappropriate and should have been apple sauce with this meat. Only when we received the account were we told that the two lovely desserts that we had was on the house. Nice gesture but we will not be returning to this restaurant again, which joins the list with Steenberg which we used fairly regularly until it also went down badly. Acapulco Spur is also now a No-Go due to both feeling unwell after two meals there, possibly due to my wife being allergic to Palm Oil, though not sure if they use this or whether it is in their sauces as I am not allergic to Palm Oil. Must say their Fillet Steak was one of the best I have ever had.

Calamari extremely greasy, sauces should be avoided at all costs, tried two and both were nasty. Steaks were great, cooked to perfection and very tasty! Good selection of salads and sides!
